Forest Festival – RND
July 23 @ 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm
We would like to invite you to our first ever “Forest Festival” event. The Festival will be a celebration of the children’s achievements and the newly learnt skills that they have developed through their Forest School sessions with Mrs Flook. We invite you to come and join in with lots of exciting forest activities including pond dipping, face painting, woodland crafts and toasting marshmallows! At the end of the Festival there will be a presentation of certificates to celebrate each child completing their first Forest School year.
Whilst the PTA have generously donated some funds this year specifically for forest schools, we are keen to continue to build on the resources we have as we continue this initiative in Year One for the first time from September. We will have a “donation” box on the day so if you feel able or willing to, we would be grateful for anything you can donate.
The Festival will take place on the school field and in the Copse area from 1.30-2.45pm on the following dates:
RLEB – Tuesday 16th July
RND – Tuesday 23rd July
If you do not want your child to have their face painted, please let the office know. We also ask that the children bring in a change of clothes that you do not mind getting dirty for them to wear for the afternoon. Please ensure they have their arms and legs covered.
We look forward to seeing as many parents at the event as possible. Please come dressed appropriately (arms and legs covered) and ready to get involved in some forest fun!
If you have any questions about the event please do not hesitate to contact Miss Dews.
