High Stile, Great Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1EB
Hello, and on behalf of the school governors, may I welcome you to the governors’ section of the school website.
My name is Dave Perry, and I am the chair of the governors at Dunmow St. Mary’s Primary School.
The purpose of these pages is to let parents and carers know:
what the governors do
who the governors are
how to find out more about the governor role, in case you are interested in joining us.
You can read more about who we are and what we do by clicking on the links, or view our diocese ‘charter’ by clicking here.
The governors are ultimately responsible for the smooth and effective running of the school. Our role is to help the school provide the best possible education for the pupils in a number of ways:
Thinking and working strategically to help raise standards
Monitoring and evaluating progress towards the school’s priorities and targets
Supporting the head of staff as well as challenging their expectations.
News items/links to go here.
Any governor vacancies will appear here.
