Each year we celebrate International Day with a morning dedicated to teaching our children about the wider world around them. Countries replace classrooms and older and younger children are paired together whilst they explore the creative, hands on and fun sessions our teachers have prepared.
Experiences this year included listening to and making Chinese drums, using chopsticks to eat Japanese sticky rice, playing Boules, making peg dolls, weaving and making music with a range of instruments. We hope the photos can give you a good idea of the enjoyment and new skills these sessions have provided.
Thank you to Mrs Dodd for organising and managing the logistics of the day so brilliantly.
