The whole school have had a fantastic day exploring maths in a number of ways. In both KS1 and KS2 assemblies, the pupil teams beat the teacher team in their maths quiz! At playtime, everyone enjoyed a maths treasure hunt around the playground and, in the afternoon, the children took part in a ‘Crystal Maze’ maths game where they had to solve lots of maths puzzles. The teams from each class who had won the most crystals then competed against each other in a final bid to be the master mathematicians. Congratulations to 5LO who came out on top.
Thank you also to everyone who sent in donations for the NSPCC. We have raised £145 to date with the promise of a few more ££s to follow. It has been a great day for building curiosity, applying investigation skills and nurturing marvellous mathematicians whilst supporting such a worthy cause!
