RVL – Mrs Limbrick

Mrs Limbrick – Class Teacher

I have been a teacher for almost 15 years now and joined Dunmow St Mary’s a year ago. I love teaching in reception as the learning is so individualised.  Each child’s learning experience is as unique as they are, and we as practitioners know how to enhance your child’s interests to help them achieve or exceed their goals, whilst also having fun.  I look forward to your child teaching me all about their favourite toys, books and games. I love to read in my spare time and go for walks to explore new places. I can’t wait to meet you all in September and hope you have a lovely summer.

I can’t wait for you to all start school so that we can have a great time exploring the copse, building sandcastles and baking mud pies in the mud kitchen!

Mrs Flook – Class Teaching Assistant and Forest School Leader

I have been part of the Dunmow St Mary’s team for 7 years and this will be my 5th year working in reception. I absolutely love getting to know each child and watching them develop though the year. I am also lucky enough to lead Forest Schools for reception and year 1, encouraging children to develop an understanding for the natural environment, the ability to self-assess risks and to have the opportunity to extend their learning outside the classroom.

Outside of school I enjoy walking my dogs and taking the time to admire the countryside. Baking is a little hobby of mine and I love making cakes for family and friends.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer and I look forward to meeting you in September.

Mrs Maura-Cooper – Class Teaching Assistant

I have been working at Dunmow St Mary’s for a year now and have been part of the school community with my children since 2013. At school, I enjoy being creative and getting my hands dirty at every opportunity with paint, clay, glitter and sequins. My favourite storybooks are funny ones such as ‘Do Not Open This Book’ and also ones that make us think about how lucky we are such as ‘Penguin Problems’.

In my spare time, I love to bake cakes, listen and sing along to music and dance in the kitchen with my children.

I can’t wait for us to play, make, draw, write, sing, dance, problem solve and learn together. You are about to start a very special adventure and I am really looking forward to helping you learn and grow. We are going to have so much fun together!
