Our 2019 Sports Day was once again a tremendous success. Our Key Stage one children and parents had a surprisingly chilly start to the day but didn’t in anyway let that affect their enthusiasm or participation. They ran, bounced, threw, hopped, skipped and jumped through a series of field and track events with many children surprising themselves at their abilities. The day warmed up slightly as our Key Stage two children took to the field and the competition became more intense as each child strived to do their best. The picnic lunch was a warm, relaxed and social event that was enjoyed by all. It was lovely to have a surprise visit from Mrs Thapa and Mrs Hughes with their babies who came to support their classes and wonderful to see so many parents, carers and families who were able to come along and support the children. Mrs Anderson has tallied all the results and will be letting the children know shortly which classes were the winners (on points) of the inter class competition and who the overall class winner was.
