Dodgeball Finals
As the Y6 Dodgeball team came 2nd in the Dunmow Partnership they made it to the finals which was held at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre, Saffron Walden on Wednesday 22nd November. The competition was fierce but fun.
Yr5 Archery competition
In October, Jackie Coleman our Chief Uttlesford Primary PE links organiser came into school to teach 5NR some archery. After the coaching session the best four pupils (Libby McKean, Ella Jackson, Todd Jeakins and Ayden Saltmarsh) were chosen to represent DSM in the archery competition at Flitch Green School on Friday 24th November. All pupils enjoyed the event and racked up a healthy total over four rounds.
Yr6 Talent Camp trials
On Friday 1st December eight Y6 pupils went to the Y6 Talent camp trials at Dunmow Leisure centre. They completed a series of fitness and skills tests, all results were collated. They now have to wait until January to see if they have been successful and gained a place on the talent camp in May half term.
Sports Hall Athletics
Y6 competed in the Sports Hall Athletics competition at Felsted Independent School on Friday 8th December. They had a busy afternoon completing both field and track events followed by some fun obstacle relay races to finish. All points were totalled and DSM came 2nd. A great achievement, well done to all involved.
