On Tuesday, Year 3 braved the weather and visited Dunmow St. Mary’s Church again. This week we learned about the history of the stained glass windows; we were particularly fascinated by the puzzle window! We also did an ‘I-spy’ tour of the church to identify key features and label them on our maps. For example, the altar, pulpit, font and organ.
We are incredibly grateful to the parents who have been with us so far. Having extra adults makes the journey safer and allows for the children to share their curiosities with more people. If you are available to help out one week please let your class teacher know. We leave at 9am and are back for 11am. Thanks again.
